Overview
A new Global Cash Management Data Strategy has recently been established which aims to implement enterprise level Data Management Policy, Procedures and Tooling globally. As the Data Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting our data products with the data needs of the Cash Management business; through doing this the Cash Management business will automate data controls and reporting prone to business risk and scalable in line with the bank's growth plans. You will be liaising with technology, operations, and our business partners to understanding and documenting the new data product standards. This role will give you the opportunity to lead the Cash Management Data demands for the business within the US and you will become the central to data management for Cash to ensure the appropriate decision making and governance is applied to Cash products and risk. You will develop a network within the senior Cash Management organization that will enable you to grow within this role to gain insight and contribute into the various change and transformation programs that are front running how the business is evolving .

• Liaise with local data users to understand their business change requirements, document the data requirement aspect of this and work to ensure that data is sourced from approved platforms with suitable preventative data controls
• Establish and manage the process of logging Cash Management data defects and new requirements onto the data management portal
• Help establish the new Cash Management data guild
• Acts as a subject matter expert for approved data sourcing, data controls, data issue resolution and effective data change management practices
• Prepare and present materials (e.g., data defect metrics and material new requirements / defects uncovered) at Demand forums Skills You'll Need
• Relevant years of experience
• Knowledge of Markets/Financial products and the end-to-end payment lifecycle
• You must have strong analytical and management skills and the ability to independently own data products or their components end-to-end, with a demonstrable track record of product delivery
• Experience in organizing, researching, and analyzing client needs. You bridge the technical and business worlds, ensuring we are building the right data products with a combination of vision, market/user/competitor research and usage metrics
• Experience in business analysis, market/user research, maturity road-mapping, change management, planning and reporting Skills That Will Help You Excel
• Worked in Agile environment and played an active role in scrum ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning and sprint demo. Adept in using backlog prioritization techniques to define sprint goals and enable iterative deliveries
• A working knowledge of data governance frameworks, best practices and how they are effectively supported by good products, in particular Data Lineage but also data quality, metadata management, data privacy, data use and records retention • Interested in and familiar with core areas in applied machine learning such, computer vision, and personalization
• Experience working with products that harness large data sets
• Microsoft tools Proficient

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York City office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $130,000 to $200,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
